About us

The firm

Established in 2017, Coat Haut de Sigy de Roux is an independent French law firm specializing in criminal defense, business litigation and regulatory compliance.

Our partners trained at top firms and bring broad experience in their areas of practice, notably banking, finance and media.

By working in a tight-knit team, we can offer greater availability and direct access to our clients. This means we can defend our clients at all times, be they French or international companies, leaders, shareholders or employees.

A dual focus on litigation and compliance

Our lawyers have a dual focus on litigation and compliance. In litigation, they represent clients regularly before regulators and on a daily basis in criminal, civil and commercial courts including by defining pre-trial strategies and managing crisis situations (such as damage to brand image or reputation).

They also advise clients on compliance, in particular how to interpret their legal and regulatory obligations, as well as regulator-issued guidelines and publications.

Coat Haut de Sigy can help your company set up internal procedures to combat money laundering, terrorism financing, corruption, and influence peddling. We can also help develop your code of professional ethics and manage international sanctions. We produce custom-made business solutions adapted to the legal and regulatory issues specific to our clients’ business sectors.

Our lawyers have unique expertise in multi-jurisdictional cases, especially in foreign authority investigations. This dual focus means that we can manage the entire litigation cycle from prevention to remediation.
